ANNUAL MEETING
Every June PLATO holds its annual meeting at a free luncheon when new officers are elected and necessary business is conducted. Specific date and information to be announced.
AD HOC GROUPS
PLATO members have diverse interests and enjoy a wide variety of activities. Informal ‘ad hoc’ groups of members have been formed over the years to share some of these interests and activities. Currently, there are groups who enjoy ethnic dining, current events, Spanish language, bridge, tennis, etc. It’s not unusual for members in a satisfying Study/Discussion Group to continue meeting after the term ends to extend their discussions. Ad hoc groups meet at members’ homes or other locations at mutually agreed-upon times and frequency. Though such activities are in favor, they are not sanctioned or supervised in any way by PLATO or UCLA Extension.
